With the fast paced and busy lifestyle that cellphone users have nowadays, we need a cellphone that can handle all of our needs in one compact package. Apple has been one of the leading manufacturers of smartphones, it became a household name shortly after they announced its release in 2007. Competitors are coping and coming up with even bigger and better smartphones to stand against Apple’s iPhone.
One of the latest smartphones that is in the market and has caught a lot of attention is the HTC Touch Diamond2. It has a sleek and elegant design that would fit your classy lifestyle and taste. Its predecessor had received some good reviews before and this improved version of the smartphone is getting even better ones. Compared to the first version, the Touch Diamond2 has a bigger and sharper touch screen that provides easier navigation. It has a 5 megapixel camera and has longer battery life. It also comes with a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 and can be upgraded to 6.5.
When the HTC Touch Diamond2 was first released in the US, a lot of consumers were disappointed because it didn’t come with US 3G support. Thankfully around July 2009, FCC gave permission to AT & T in releasing a version of this smartphone with 3G in the United States. This version is a GSM phone that has support for the carrier’s 3G mobile service. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is also included.
In addition, the HTC Touch Diamond is also the first smartphone to use the TouchFlo 3D interface. This is designed by HTC and was incorporated to their mobile devices and pocket PC’s. HTC also added an extra level of customization by giving consumers the option to remove or rearrange tabs on the Home screen. One feature that is much favored by the users is how the smartphone displays a history of your conversation with your contacts. The smartphone allows you to review your interactions with a person in an orderly style. Another great feature is the stretched display that has high resolution as it enables you to view images in a detailed and vivid fashion.
In conclusion, a lot of smartphone users give the HTC Touch Diamond2 two thumbs up. Despite its imperfections, it still has an overall good performance. Personally, I am drawn just with the architecture of the smartphone itself. Its sleek design is very captivating and very easy to like. It is also excellent that they have released a US version with 3G because a lot of consumers were holding out to buy the smartphone until the 3G version release. Smartphones have made our mobile lives a lot easier and entertaining. Because of the competition in the market, manufacturers also continue to develop more advanced technologies and bigger innovations that what we presently have. Hopefully, the next generation of smartphones will bring us even more superior performance and value.
