The latest episode of Glee posts the new ringtone which is a version of Cee Lo Green’s Fuck You – Forget You. This song first became famous in YouTube. It immediately got tons of hits not just because of the surprisingly and noticeable title but because it also has a catchy tune. The two versions of Cee Lo gained immediate popularity last September and now deserves a spot in Glee.
The original version of Cee Lo takes you back to the Motown days wherein you will definitely be nostalgic and enjoy the song. You would find yourself singing the song (or at least humming the tune) the rest of the day even after hearing the tune a couple of times.
Definitely this Gwyneth Paltrow version in Glee is worth getting. This can be made into your ringtone anytime. Although she sang the Forget You version, it is still worth downloading as a ringtone.
In the episode, the substitute Gwyneth proves herself to be worthy of being the sub. She was challenged when she heard the cheerleader said “What would you know about Cee Lo? You are about 40.” She hits the note and proves herself to be a real performer. She holds the tambourine and goes on with the song. Will she stay for long with the Gleeks as she seems to be accepted by them after singing the Cee Lo Green song.
With about a week in YouTube the Gywneth Paltrow version of Cee Lo Green’s Forget You already has about a million hits. Definitely this song is gaining popularity. It is not a bad idea to make this your personalized ringtone. Here is how the song goes:
