This Canadian pop singer continues to dominate the charts and trends in the music industry. Born in March 1 1994, this very young artist is loved by many fans but at the same time hated by some people. Many critics have had their say on who Justin Bieber is and who he will be. Some say and predict that he will be the next Justin Timberlake of the pop world. While other critics say that Justin Bieber sounds like a chic. Howard Stern in his commentary against Bieber’s rendition on the song “We Are the World” said that “Justin Bieber? I don’t even know who that is,” then commented: “He sounds like a chick”
Justin was discovered by Scooter Braun just back n 2008 who came across Bieber’s YouTube video. Scooter became his manager and arranged to meet with Usher. Beiber signed with RDMG which is a media group joint venture os Usher and Braun. Later on Justin landed a recording contract with Island Record.
In 2009 he released his debut single “One Time” and topped the charts in over ten countries. “My world” followed with a platinum in the US. This made him the first artist to have 7 songs in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. My World 2.0 is his first full studio release has also received same success . Again debuting in the top of the charts not just in the US but also in other countries. Last January when he collaborated with Ludacris, they were able to produce the hit song “Baby” which captivated audience all over the world.
If you go to YouTube, you can see the Video in which he was discovered. Baby has about 356 million hits. Never Say Never gets 92 million hits. Somebody to Love Remix with Usher gets 80 million hits. Never Let You Go has 94 million hits. Definitely he has stepped up in the music industry.
Scooter started everything for Justin Bieber and things fall into their proper places. Becuase Justin is enjoying the life of a teenage pop R&B star, he is more open to critics all over the world but this is not stopping the kid to continue to rise and gain popularity among fellow teenagers all over the world.
