Already been involved in cellular communications as an RF engineer since 1982 when I worked for Motorola. Had Blackberrys for the previous 8 years or so, but just pre ordered a Samsung Vibrant from T-mobile. Want a few new features as well as a brand new Os to play with. I’m frustrated that Tmobile has turned off the wifi hotspot feature in the Samsung Vibrant, but I am certain somebody will certainly figure out how to root it and add the feature back in. I’m now having a wifi only iPad and want to wirelessly tether it to the phone. Looking forward to obtaining my new phone!

I have had the Samsung Rogue since Jan 7th, it previously worked great until about 2 months ago. my phone does not receive texts messages until about 20-30 minutes after the other person sent them. most of the occasion i will get several messages at once, when i do receive them. any time i send out a image message occasionally it will send just fine and other occasions it may take a few minutes, hours, or a day to get to the other person. i have heard of others having troubles with their phone randomly turning off, mine does that too. my first samsung rogue got so bad i had to get a replacement, that was nearly 2 weeks ago. I am still having the same troubles with my new one! I am so frustrated, i just want to get a new type of phone. i payed retail for the rogue and am so mad that it turned out to be a crappy phone :/ just my rant…
