‘Teenage Dream’ Puts Glee on Top of Charts

New York – Glee, Fox’s smash hit musical soap, has reached another top of the charts with Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”. It debuted at number 1 in sales (digital track). This is actually the first time Glee is able to land a number 1 spot in digital sales. Their ever famous version of “Don’t Stop Believin’” reached number 2 in digital sales back in May of 2009 but this “Teenage Dream” has certainly put them on top. IT has impressively sold 214,000 tracks, the highest debut week for Glee to date.

Glee was able to overtake James Brown for having the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Last month Billboard reported that Glee replaced The Beatles for the No 3 spot in most entries while James Brown was at No 2. James had 91 entries.
